Marketing Opportunity

The Division of Marketing & Communications (in the case John) has updated an old tool that we have had to market the university.  The Chronicle of Higher Education has a “Campus Viewpoints” section where we can summarize the high points of the university, as well as providing research snippets and campus news &  events.   The informational stories appearing on the Campus Viewpoint and Employer Profile pages will rotate periodically and will be pulled both from articles written by MarComm and by those written by the colleges and departments around campus.

This resource will be of particular use to those of you who are trying to recruit faculty, as the Chronicle is the first-line reference for jobs in academia.  It also offers a high-profile way of getting the word out about A&M for those who want to provide such information without having to maintain it themselves.
