Update – m.tamu.edu – v1.0.8

July 1st, 2010 by tamuwebmaster

Today I released the newest version of Texas A&M’s mobile website, m.tamu.edu. As we all know, this mobile website is designed to provide the College Station campus with information commonly needed on-the-go. For this version we aimed at keeping those visitors with a new resource, Bookmarks.

As you notice by the screenshot above, there is a bookmark icon. This will load the bookmarks page with instructions on how to properly create an executable app logo on your mobile device. You no longer need to type m.tamu.edu into your browser.

This release also contains some other new hidden treasures as well.

Wallpapers is a great new page for anyone looking to decorate their device with Aggie spirit. Tons of photos already sized to fit most mobile devices. Check it out under “Multimedia“.

Athletics’ news feeds have been added to the news section. You now can find scores and recent events right from our easy-to-use reader.

Operation Hours has been added as a sub-item to “Campus Information”. Thanks to the folks over CIS we now have a interactive Open Access Lab hours as well. Really handy for those who stay late on campus studying. Library hours, and Dining hours have been added as well.
