IIS Hosted Sites SEO Tools

June 5th, 2009 by tamuwebmaster

Just a quick note, Microsoft recently released an IIS Search Engine Optimization Toolkit that loads directly into the IIS management interface. It can help analyze sites hosted in IIS for SEO issues. It can also manage sitemap and robots files easily. Check out Scott Gu’s blog post about it titled IIS Search Engine Optimization Toolkit for more information.

  1. Very impressive. It teaches SEO principles and can produce error messages such as “link text is not relevant”. Of course it’s only for IIS. There are some good, free web-based tools at http://tools.seobook.com/ and http://www.seomoz.org/tools which will work for any site.

  3. Very nice! Integrating these with the web server gui makes a lot of sense too. Thanks for the share, I hadn’t heard of it.
